Twilight Criterium

We went to Boise almost two weeks ago now, to watch my brother Matt compete in the Twilight Criterium. We had such a good time sitting downtown eating Popsicles and watching all the different races. Matt did such a good job and never cease to amaze us with your strength and determination! Way to go Uncle Matt!

This picture doesn't show the huge pack of racers but at least you can see Matt he's in the Blue.
Garrett and I enjoying the race. Notice he's toxic blue lips. Thanks Uncle Dave!
This is the toxic Popsicle that Garrett loved so much.

Garrett's first camping trip!

We went camping last weekend right up the canyon from our house. Grant got home from work Friday night, we ate dinner and he decided we should go camping. So we threw our stuff in the car and headed out. Garrett loved almost every minute of it. He seemed to be a little uncomfortable through the night, and of course was up at about 6:30 and ready to be out of the tent. Can't you tell how much he loved being outside and playing with sticks and rocks and dirt.
Cute little family pic. Keep in mind we were camping!
Grant and Garrett testing out the air mattress. I don't always get smiles like that!

Our beautiful camp site. I can't believe how beautiful it is here. We drove only a few minutes from our house and there were beautiful spots everywhere. Thanks for putting up with us Grant. We had a great time!

Marshmallow Brownies

Hey Candace here's a picture of those brownies I created. They were actually really good, so moist and chewy. I used about half a can of marshmallow ice-cream topping and swirled it together. Give it a try!

Shanty get together!

We had a little get together with some of Grants friends from college! Garrett had so much fun. There was a pool, tramp, swingset and sandbox with dump trucks and tractors. what more could a kid want right? The only problem was I didn't bring a swimsuit or a swim diaper for the poor kid. So after watching the other kids swim for about an hour he couldn't take it anymore. So Grant let him swim in his diaper. Let me tell you, the cheap generic diapers from Broulims hold so much liquid, in this case pool water. Everyone was taking pictures of poor little Garrett. He could barely walk around in the pool but he didn't care he was happy where he was. We also enjoyed the tire swing together. Grant would push us around in circles and we would try to kick him whenever we could. Garrett thought it was so funny to "get" dad.
This was the best picture I got of his diaper. He stayed in for 20 minutes after that.
How cute is my little boy.
Gotcha Dad!!!

Moving again!

5 truckloads

Way too many boxes

Two professional movers (Tate and Tav)

2 full days

Moving in with our new four legged friend... PRICELESS

We moved last weekend for the 5th time in a year and a half. I'm so sick of moving! We are house sitting again which means free rent! But this time we have a little added bonus. We get to watch their dog Cleo. So we'll see how the next 6 months go. The best thing is they have these little stairs for the dog so she can get up on the couch. Garrett is pretty sure they are there for him so he can get on the couch easier.

This one's for you Mom!

So I had to post these cute pictures of Garrett because I love him! Garrett loves popsicles and after a hard days play we like to sit on the porch together and split a popsicle. I love summer!

Air Show

A couple weeks ago (that's how good I am about blogging) we went to the Rexburg airshow. I know your thinking it's Rexburg how cool can it be, but Grant's Uncle, John Bagley owns an air museum there and is an amazing pilot. It was an amazing show and a beautiful day to be outside. Garrett loved every minute of it. We left our house at about 7:30 and returned home somewhere around 3. So we were a little tired as you can see in the pictures below. We all had so much fun!

Grant's Uncle if flying the yellow plane and his son is flying the one in front!

This was Garrett's favorite plane and it didn't even move. It was in the musem hanger where it was nice and cool.

Garrett driving some kind of ARMY vehicle. Whatever it was he had to drive it!

Taking a little nap after we got home. Too cute. I had to take a picture!
