Garrett is two!

Last weekend we celebrated Garrett's second birthday in Boise with my family! We had a John Deere party complete with a tractor cake. Garrett loved every minute of it. Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate! Garrett loved all his gifts. They'll keep him busy inside through the long winter months. This is his cake that is suppose to be a field of grain.
Grandma Brenda found the cutest John Deere fabric and had a blanket made for Garrett complete with two "tags" on each corner. I'll add a picture of the whole blanket, it's amazing.
Garrett opening his present from Aunt Katie and Aunt Kelsey. Two four wheelers.
We live in farm country and love John Deere.
Garrett attempting to blow out his candles.

Garrett could barely make it through the singing. As soon as we cute him a piece he tore the tractor off and licked it clean and was driving it on the table.Grant helping Garrett show how old he is.

Tractor Boy!

I was finally able to do a birthday photo shoot! Isn't Garrett just the cutest little tractor boy ever. He loves tractors so much and enjoys riding with Gran, Grandad, Grant, Parley, Tav, Tate, Alesa, Billy. Pretty much anyone who will take him. He already knows that a "rake push gether" the hay. (Thanks Aunt Alesa)
Can you tell how much he loves tractors! Thanks Grandma Brenda for the cute tractor shirt!
Here's the final outcome.

Only Child!

The other day I caught Garrett with this!!!! This was the result! I've been waiting very patiently to take a picture of Garrett for his birthday invitations. I've waited through scratches, cuts and now permanent marker!
But look how willing he was to give it up. I must have had a really mean look on my face. You can tell he knows he's in trouble!
Garrett keeps me so busy. He just might be an only child!

Horse Ride

We took Garrett for his first horse ride just up the canyon from our house. Grant took us for quite a long ride clear up the canyon and by Grand Targhee and all the way down to his Uncle's barn. It was lots of fun but a little to long for Garrett who fell asleep on the way back down. We live in such a beautiful valley and love taking advantage of our surroundings. We haven't quite mastered the hold and shoot pictures.Cute Garrett looking a little nervous on that horse all by himself.

Nap Time

My friend Candace wrote a post about how beautiful her children look when they sleep. Now don't get me wrong Garrett is beautiful all the time but this is quite typical of Garrett's naps. he usually is way in the corner or hanging half way out of the crib. It always makes me laugh. I don't know how he sleeps like that.

Lover Not A Fighter!

One of my favorite things about Garrett is the kisses and hugs he gives not only to me but everyone. He's such a sweet boy. He's a couple pictures of Garrett and Kiley giving eachother kisses and hugs, and a few with Grandma Brenda and Grandpa Joe. We love you and miss you!

Roaring Springs

We also went to Roaring Springs while in Boise and had a blast. Pictures coming soon. I have to wait for Katie to wake up and upload them onto facebook, but I wanted to save a place so my posts would be in order!
