Canning

On top of all the raspberries my wonderful mother in law taught me how to can. Using apples from her apple trees we canned over 60 jars of applesauce and apple pie filling, and I don't have a single picture to show for it. It was a lot of work and a lot of mess but so much fun and a good skill to learn. We also we lucky enough to get pears from Merissa's trees in Utah and canned 24 jars of pears! Yum Yum!

in response to the "bright window" it totally makes sense. Alta is about as close to heaven that we can get while still on earth. :)
